Beni-Suef University Acting President Receives Distinguished Media Professionals Evaluating Faculty of Mass Communication Graduation Projects and Presents Them with the University Shield

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, received today a distinguished group of media professionals and experts who participated in evaluating the graduation projects submitted by students of the Faculty of Mass Communication. In recognition of their valuable contribution, he presented them with the University Shield.
The delegation included Dr. Mahmoud Mosallam, prominent journalist and Chairman of the Senate Media Committee; Mr. Ahmed Embabi, Editor-in-Chief of Rose Al-Youssef Magazine and News Portal; Mr. Sami Abdel Radi, Editor-in-Chief of The Telegraph website; Mr. Emad El-Din Hussein, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Shorouk Egypt newspaper; and Dr. Hassan Ali, former Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mamdouh Makawy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication; Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Sayed, Media Advisor to the University; Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; in addition to a number of faculty members and department heads.
Dr. Tarek Ali affirmed that these activities are part of the university’s strategy to support student creativity and encourage graduation projects that reflect students’ capabilities and professional skills. He emphasized the university’s commitment to linking academic study with practical application, noting that the projects included eleven distinguished works addressing a wide range of social and creative issues.
Among the projects presented were Shatharat (Fragments), On the Edge of Survival, Chain, The Foundling, Biography, Companionship, The Village Turtles, Orbit 622, Ezdan, Soul, and Wadag. These projects demonstrated a high level of professionalism, creativity, and excellence in both preparation and execution, reflecting the quality of education provided by the Faculty of Mass Communication.
The Acting President further stressed that the university administration will continue to support such projects by providing all necessary technical and human resources to ensure that the Faculty of Mass Communication remains a leading platform for graduating creative and influential media professionals capable of shaping Egypt’s media landscape.
For his part, Dr. Mamdouh Makawy highlighted the importance of sustaining these practical experiences, which serve as a bridge between theoretical study and professional practice, thereby reinforcing Beni-Suef University’s position as a leading academic institution in the field of media education.
Meanwhile, the media professionals and expert evaluators praised the outstanding quality of the students’ projects, emphasizing that such initiatives play a vital role in refining students’ skills and enhancing their practical capabilities, enabling them to meet the evolving demands of the media industry and labor market.
