Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef National University, announced that the university has finalized extensive preparations for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. This effort reflects the university's commitment to providing a comprehensive, modern educational environment that meets the latest academic and technological standards, ensuring an outstanding educational experience for students from their very first day of classes

He noted that, in the new academic year, the university will welcome approximately 19,000 students distributed across 21 study programs spanning the medical, engineering, and humanities sectors, and that all necessary educational, administrative, and security preparations have been completed to ensure classes begin efficiently and smoothly

Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that preparations included reviewing and equipping all lecture halls and classrooms with the latest educational tools and modern technologies, thereby ensuring a stimulating learning environment that fosters academic achievement and engagement. Furthermore, scientific and applied laboratories have been outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment to support practical training across various disciplines, contributing to the development of qualified professionals capable of meeting the demands of local, regional, and international labor markets

He added that the university has implemented various security and organizational measures to manage student entry and exit. These include activating an integrated administrative security system, intensifying monitoring at main gates and the campus perimeter, and regulating internal traffic to ensure the highest levels of order and safety. Furthermore, the readiness of all teams dedicated to student services has been heightened to ensure a swift response to various situations and the provision of necessary support throughout the academic day

For her part, Dr. Rasha Tawfik, Vice President for Academic Affairs, stated that the preparation of class schedules, academic plans, and course curricula for all programs has been finalized, ensuring the smooth and orderly conduct of the educational process from the start of the academic term. Coordination has also been established between the faculties and relevant administrative departments to implement effective operational mechanisms that facilitate the delivery of outstanding student services and streamline the reception of both new and returning students, thereby enhancing the quality of academic and administrative performance across the university

It emphasized that these preparations reflect the university's commitment to fostering an advanced academic environment that aligns with the Egyptian state's vision for developing the university education system. Furthermore, they underscore the university's dedication to providing a modern educational experience—combining academic excellence, practical training, and a safe environment—thereby helping to cultivate a generation capable of creativity, innovation, and active participation in achieving sustainable development goals.
