The Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University organizes a workshop on preparing competitive research projects, in the context of Egyptian-Spanish cooperation.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing’s Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector organized a workshop titled "Preparing Competitive Research Projects: Egyptian-Spanish Cooperation." The event was held in collaboration with the Research Projects Support and Funding Office—part of the University Performance Development Center—and took place under the supervision of Dr. Hanan El-Zablawi, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad, Advisor to the University President for Innovation Affairs and Director of the University Performance Development Center; and Dr. Abeer Nasr El-Din, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Postgraduate Studies and Research. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Sherif El-Areed, Director of the university’s Research Projects Support and Funding Office
The workshop provided a comprehensive, practical overview of the foundations for developing and designing research projects aimed at securing joint international funding between Egypt and Spain. It covered the mechanisms for preparing research proposals and meeting the competitive criteria required for international research grants. This initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to supporting scientific research, enhancing research capabilities, and fostering international collaboration—ultimately increasing the prospects for researchers and faculty members to obtain international funding and build research partnerships with scientific institutions abroad. The workshop also saw significant engagement from participants, who actively discussed and exchanged ideas on how to refine research concepts and transform them into competitive projects
It is worth noting that this workshop is part of a collaboration between the Faculty of Nursing and the Research Projects Support and Funding Office at the University . It aims to develop researchers' skills in preparing research proposals, foster a culture of innovation, and expand the horizons for international cooperation—all of which contribute to advancing the scientific research ecosystem and achieving academic excellence at Beni-Suef University
