Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Al-Alsun participated in the activities of the “FEF Égypte réinvente” project, which aims to renew and develop French language teaching practices at Egyptian universities. The participation was held under the supervision of Dr. Marwa Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty, and reflects the University's commitment to strengthening international academic and cultural cooperation and keeping pace with the latest developments in language education.

Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the activities included a visit by a Faculty delegation to the French Embassy in Cairo, where the delegation had the honor of meeting His Excellency Mr. Éric Chevallier, Ambassador of France to the Arab Republic of Egypt. The delegation also participated in the project's closing ceremony, held at the residence of the French Ambassador. This participation reflects the University's commitment to strengthening academic and cultural ties between Egypt and France, developing language teaching methods, engaging with international educational experiences, and fostering academic and cultural partnerships that contribute to enhancing the educational process and preparing graduates with linguistic and creative skills that meet future demands.

The project experience gave students the opportunity to create, write, and perform original theatrical scenes in French. This approach helps develop their language and communication skills, enhance their ability to express themselves creatively, and transform language learning into an interactive practical experience combining knowledge with artistic practice.

On the final day of the project, the Faculty delegation, accompanied by the Dean and a distinguished group of faculty members and assistant staff, presented a research paper showcasing an innovative practical educational experience. The paper explored ways to connect French language teaching with literature and theatrical creativity through the use of Topaze, a play by French writer Marcel Pagnol.

The experience received positive feedback and admiration from the French attendees. The newspaper Ahram Hebdo also covered the project's closing activities in an article entitled “Clôture au Caire du projet REINVENTE.” This coverage reflects the importance of such initiatives in developing French language teaching methods and strengthening academic and cultural partnerships between Egyptian and French universities.
