President of Beni-Suef University receives evaluation committee of "Best University" competition
In the framework of the initiative of President / Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni-Suef University, received a delegation from the Evaluation Committee of "Best University" competition.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan reviewed the material potentials, facilities and services provided by the university to students, faculty members, employees and the outside community. He spoke about the university beginnings, its logo and area and what distinguishes the university from other universities in addition to its ranking according to the international classification systems, as well as winning many competitive projects such as Erasmus and memorandums of understanding and international and local agreements such as the most recently protocol of cooperation with the University of Sabinza Rome.
As for the educational process, the university president mentioned the five academic sectors at the university which are represented in the science sector (medical, natural, engineering, social and humanitarian), the number of colleges and institutes in each sector, departments and special programs, laboratories and centers in each college and institute, with a focus on unique and distinguished institutes and colleges compared to other universities.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan explained the community services offered by the university to the external community and the university's students, such as: university hospital, its departments and recent updates, the specialized medical center and its departments, as well as the nursery of employees' and faculty members' sons.
After the meeting held at Beni-Suef University, the delegation conducted an inspection tour of the university theater, university faculties, terraces, study halls, laboratories, equipment, training places and libraries in each faculty.
It is worth mentioning that the competition of the best Egyptian university is an initiative launched by President / Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in July to be an annual competition that motivates universities to provide an appropriate educational environment, serving a wide range of university youth and benefiting the future of the country.
