President of Beni Suef University receives an academic delegation from the heads and representatives of some Nigerian universities

  Prof. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University,  met President of Kano University of Technology, President of Yobe State University and some Vice-Presidents of the two universities and representatives of the faculty members, In the presence of the deputies and some deans of the faculties and a number of faculty members at Beni Suef University.
The President of Beni Suef University began his speech by welcoming the guests and expressed his deep gratitude for this visit, hoping that it would be a good start for further scientific and research cooperation, exchange of visiting professors and other means of cooperation between the two sides.
Professor Mansour Hassan reviewed the material potentials, facilities and services provided by the university to students, faculty members, employees and the outside community. It dealt with the beginnings of the university, its logo and its area and what distinguishes the university from the other universities and its  high ranking according to the classification systems of the world: Times, Shanghai, the Webometrics and ISO, As well as winning many competitive projects such as Erasmus, memorandums of understanding and international and local agreements, most recently a protocol of cooperation with the University of Sabinza Rome.

As for the educational process, the university president mentioned the five academic sectors in the university which are represented in the sciences sector (medical, natural, engineering, social and humanitarian), the number of colleges and institutes in each sector, departments and special programs, laboratories and centers in each college and institute, with a focus on unique and distinguished institutes and colleges compared to universities The first of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, such as the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, the Institute of Elderly Sciences, faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, the Faculty of Earth Sciences, the Faculty of Navigation and Space Technology, Institute of Laser Institute for Research and Applications, Faculty of Environmental and Bio-Agriculture and Food Processing ,The Institute of Medical and Aromatic Plants, the Institute of Small and Medium Enterprises; The number of faculty members, the number of students and staff at the university, and the numbers of foreign students and their nationalities, This was not limited to that, but rather focused on the services of the University for the disabled by providing a Defective Challenger unit and providing libraries suitable for those with special needs such as audio libraries, Braille and other devices, and security protection for all through the provision of safe gates and others.

Dr. Mansoor Hassan explained the community services offered by the university to the external community and the university's children, such as: the university hospital, its departments and recent updates, the specialized medical center and its departments, as well as the nursery of the sons of workers and the members of the teaching staff. And medical convoys that are carried out continuously in the governorate of Beni Suef and its villages.

For his part, members of the Nigerian delegation expressed their happiness and great interest in cooperation with Beni Suef University because of the availability of unique disciplines, colleges and institutes that are not available in other universities in the Middle East and Africa. The cooperation includes all academic and research aspects, exchange of visiting professors, students and others.  Hope that many protocols were signed with Beni Suef University in the near future.
