President of Beni Suef University is leading a "white stick" march to commemorate the International Day of the Blind

 The University of Beni Suef organized a "white stick" march this morning in the faculty of Special Needs Science on the occasion of World Blind Day, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, the deputies, the Dean of the College, the Vice-Presidents, the faculty members, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, And a number of students of the university and students of schools for the blind Beni Suef.
During his speech, the university president stressed that supporting people with special needs has a key role in raising the level of determination and will to achieve their aspirations. He pointed out that the university pays great attention to people with special needs, activating their role and integrating them into society, and that it is almost the only university that has a faculty to teach All of their science, and a unit to provide all the amenities for them Announcing the university's inauguration of a visual audio library and center.

Dr. Mansour Hassan added that the university will assess the handicapped at the governorate level, their places and classification in terms of type and proportion of disability, in cooperation with a number of bodies, including the Ministry of Education, to benefit from these data in providing all types of medical services through organizing the university for a number of Medical convoys for disability to detect and perform the necessary tests, pointing out that these data also helps civil society organizations to provide various services to them, in order to activate the role of community partnership in the service of the community.
