Beni Suef University celebrates the International Day of Disability Challengers

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the activities of celebrating the International Day of Disability Challengers, organized by the community service sector at the university in cooperation with the Faculty of Special Needs Science and the Disability Challenge Unit.
This was in the presence of Prof. Dr. Badr Nabih, University Vice President for Community Service Sector, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Khaled, University Vice President for Education and Students Sector, Prof. Dr. Emad Al-Wasimi, Dean of the Faculty of Special Needs Science and a number of faculty deans and faculty members amid a remarkable presence of students.
Prof. Dr. Mansour pointed out that the goal of this celebration is to create a community interaction within the university to care and fulfill the rights of persons with disabilities in order to become influential members in society as they have special abilities, and geniuses have emerged from them in all cultural, scientific, literary, artistic, sports and other fields, and they have won many silver and gold medals for Egypt at the Olympic level.
The university president also expressed his interest in the university's endeavor to inculcate a culture of rehabilitation for people with disabilities, and work to integrate them into their societies, and motivate them to overcome their disabilities, adding that the university spares no effort in providing full support to graduates with special abilities.
The President of the University also opened, on the sidelines of the celebration, the art exhibition organized by the College of Special Needs Science, which aims to facilitate learning difficulties for persons with hearing, visual and mental disabilities and people with autism.
In addition to the opening of the exhibition of handicrafts made by students with special needs.
Prof. Dr. Mansour has honored all sectors involved in organizing the celebration and the winners in the sporting competitions from the Disability Challengers, ideal mothers and university students with special needs and university employees.
