President of Beni Suef University: Increasing the number of baby care units to 30

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, confirmed that the university hospital administration took advantage of the opportunity of partial closure to do the necessary maintenance in the surgical operation and intensive care sections, so that these departments would be ready to work at full capacity within two weeks, in addition to the completion of work in the new premature babies unit, which will accommodate 30 baby care units instead of 12, in addition to the Department of Kidney Diseases and Kidney Dialysis.
Prof. Dr. Mansour said that work is underway to complete all maintenance work and rehabilitate the internal departments within two weeks, and adding three new elevators for patients that reach the seventh floor at a cost of 7 million pounds.
Prof. Dr. Atef Morsi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Hospital’s Board of Directors, said that the isolation of Corona patients will be confined to the thoracic department and its intensive care on the seventh floor that will accommodate 35 beds. He added that the financial rewards approved by the university president for the isolation team from the medical and nursing staff have been started.
