Beni Suef University Board, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, approved the proposal of a memorandum of understanding between Beni Suef University and the Regional Center for Space Science and Technology Education for West Asia / United Nations, and this came in session No. 188 in the presence of the university's vice-presidents, deans and members of the council.
Dr. Mansour emphasized that the Regional Center for Space Science and Technology Education for West Asia is a specialized and independent regional organization that enjoys legal personality and works under the auspices of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, based in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The university president explained that the cooperation between the two parties will include the areas of developing and building capabilities in the field of space science and technology, satellite technology for remote sensing, applications of space technology and artificial intelligence, studying the natural environment and astronomy, communications and space navigation systems, monitoring and controlling climate changes, and information technology systems in The field of space science and technology, awarding degrees and publishing scientific journals for both parties.
