President of Beni Suef University: Inaugurating program for preparing vocational training teacher for people with special needs

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today the inauguration of a blended learning system program under the name of Bachelor of Preparation of Vocational rehabilitation Teacher for People with Special Needs. This was during his presidency of the Board of Directors meeting of the Blended Learning Center, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abbas, Director of the Center, the Financial and Legal Adviser, council members, and the secretary general of the university.

The university president illustrated that the program gives a bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation for people with special needs with a credit-hour system and Blended E-Learning, in which students study a number of courses during eight semesters, including evaluation and vocational tendencies for people with special needs, and applications in the craft industries used in the rehabilitation of people with special needs and applications in the psychology of attitudes and preparations for them, in addition to the psychology of industrial security in the work environment for them, the rights of disabled people in local and global community, psychological and societal problems and their mental health.

The university president added that the Faculty of Science of People with Special Needs seeks to prepare qualified cadres from people with special needs for the labor market, in order to qualify them to work in the fields of special education, whether in schools, hospitals, associations interested in people with special needs inside and outside Egypt.
