Beni Suef University Council, headed by University President Mansour Hassan, today, in its session No. 194, agreed to sign a joint cooperation protocol between the university and the National Center for Translation, in the presence of the university's vice presidents, faculty deans and members of the council.

University President Mansour Hassan explained that the protocol includes providing training courses for Al-Alsun College students who have the required competence in the field of translation to hone their talents within the center at the hands of specialized experts.

The university president indicated that the protocol aims to adopt distinguished graduation projects to be published through the center, stressing the need for students to translate complete works and not excerpts from the work so that they can be published.

Dr. Mansour also directed the necessity of inviting some of the center's translators and hosting the cadres to deliver a seminar at the college’s headquarters in order to achieve the maximum possible benefit for students, pointing to the possibility of holding events remotely in light of the Corona pandemic to achieve the desired benefit in line with the current situation and in line with the hybrid education policy.
