Beni Suef University Council agrees to hold training course on societal awareness of climate changes and their impact on Beni-Suef society

Beni Suef University Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, approved in its 211st session the proposal of the Faculty of Social Work to hold a training course for students of the fourth grade in cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation on developing societal awareness of climate changes and their impact on Beni-Suef community online. This was in the presence of vice- presidents of university, deans of faculties and members of the council.
Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the symposium aims to introduce environmental pollution and its various effects on the environment and climate, in order to enhance the role of youth in climate action and raise awareness related to climate change issues, by identifying the most important national efforts in the field of facing the repercussions of climate change within the framework of the Egyptian state's interest in educating young people.
In a related context, the Council agreed to hold a refresher meeting for students of the fourth grade in cooperation with the Literacy and Adult Education Authority online, and also agreed to prepare a survey forml for the Sustainable Development Committee in the governorate for the beneficiaries of the programs and projects implemented in the Beni-Suef society.
