Beni Suef University, a training course on infection control and prevention methods in university hospitals

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Infection Control Unit at the University Hospital organized a training course on methods and techniques of Infection control and prevention methods for nursing staff, in the presence of Dr. Wael Saqr, Dean of the Faculty of  Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beni Suef University Hospitals, and Dr. Manal Abdo, Head of the Department of Family Medicine and Director of the Infection Control Unit at Beni Suef University Hospitals
The president of the university explained that nursing is one of the main pillars of the medical system, and it bears a large part of the attention and care of patients, which often exposes them to the risk of transmitting any infection, hence the importance of educating nursing staff about methods of combating infection and methods of prevention, and based on the The university hospital sector, through the Infection Control Unit, is keen to organize these specialized courses to train them to confront and prevent infection
Dr. Wael Saqr, Dean of the College of Medicine, added that the Infection Control Unit monitors infection control procedures throughout the day in all hospital departments from operations to intensive care, nurseries and internal departments, and its role in raising awareness of the risks of infection transmission, and the unit provides a distinguished service to patients.
Dr. Manal Abdo praised the development  that witnessed by the Infection Control Unit during the era of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, and his keenness to provide the latest modern medical devices and tools, which contributed to the continuation of the constructive role of the unit to provide distinguished service to patients
