The Faculty of Pharmacy, Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, in cooperation with the Youth Welfare Department, the Student Communication Team (PSCTEAM) and Union Students, organized a training entitled Digital marketing, in which Dr. Ahmed Atef lectured.
Dr. Mansour stressed that the university is always interested in linking students to the labor market with regard to the professions available to them after graduation, pointing out that the university seeks to help its students draw their future after graduation, adding that the profession of a pharmacist is a sublime profession and is not limited to selling medicines in pharmacies, so it is necessary to Paying attention to the need to educate students and explain the different specializations that can be worked on and are available to them inside pharmacies, hospitals, serum and vaccine centers, etc., praising the college’s interest in holding a symposium dealing with what electronic marketing is and how to benefit from it in the profession of pharmacy, and what are the sources through which it is possible to acquire, learn and train one’s skills. , to link their field to technological development.
Dr. Basem Anwar, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, explained that the college administration holds training courses and seminars every Tuesday, and is keen to benefit students and provide them with information about their field and various specializations, especially electronic marketing, because it is the most appropriate way for pharmacy owners to reduce the heavy financial burden imposed by traditional marketing methods. This is due to its high cost, indicating that the use of social networking sites increases the percentage of potential pharmacy customers.
