More than 1,797 trainees passed academic exams, various language courses, and 450 translations within a year

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired the meeting of the Supervisory Committee of the Center for Languages and Specialized Translation, in the presence of Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President for Education and Student Service Affairs and Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Sherif Al-Jayar, Director of the Center, and members of the Board of Directors. During the meeting, a number of topics were discussed, including holding academic exam No. 122 on Sunday, January 29, in addition to the implementation of 30 translations last December.
Also, 4 French language courses were implemented, three courses for the first level and a DELF course, at the Institute of Small and Medium Enterprises, and on the initiative of the Center for Languages and Translation in the field of international cinematic creativity A number of films will be shown to the students at the beginning of the second semester. Two short films about life in Paris have been prepared to be presented to the students and then commented on by a specialist, which enriches the language of young people and their knowledge of other cultures.
The meeting reviewed the harvest of the year 2022 for the Languages and Translation Center, where 12 academic tests were held with a total number of 1459 participants in those tests, 450 translations from Arabic into English and Chinese, two courses for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers with a total of 75 trainees, a translation conference was held Entitled "Problems of Translation.. Present and Future", the course of the Sheikh of Arab Translators, Dr. Muhammad Anani, held courses for the English, French and German languages with the participation of 89 trainees according to the initiative of the Ministry of Youth, and held 6 courses for the French language with the participation of 174 trainees, and approved the final design of the new Language and Translation Center
