President of Beni Suef University: The Green Hydrogen project of the Green Eco team at the Faculty of Science has qualified for the second stage of the Egypt Entrepreneurship Rally competition

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, stated that the Green Eco scientific team at the Faculty of Science has qualified for the second stage
from the Egyptian Entrepreneurship Rally Competition 2023 through the Green Hydrogen project, under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Dr. Mohab Moussa, Director of the Entrepreneurship Club and the Tyco Office at the university
As the total number of submitted projects is 1900 projects, 80 projects were selected, of which 40 are in the general track and 40 are in the technology track, provided that 20 projects in the general track and 20 projects in the technology track will go up to the final stage
The university president explained that the Egypt Rally competition is one of the most important competitions supporting university students and entrepreneurs, which aims to spread awareness about the concepts and importance of entrepreneurship and encourage students at the university level to establish their own emerging projects and develop their intellectual skills, pointing out that the participating students get a Specialized trainings in entrepreneurship, within the activities of the competition, as well as many opportunities for them to present their projects to investors and business owners from different sectors The Entrepreneurship Club team at the university spread the culture, promotion and publicity of the competition, and among the results of those activities was the rise of a project representing Beni Suef University in the general track of the competition, as the green hydrogen project is in line with the Egyptian state's policy to confront climate changes and discover alternative solutions that are environmentally friendly
It should be noted that the scientific team included Dr. Mohamed Sayed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Postgraduate Affairs, Dr. Ola Hamouda, Professor of Botany and Microbiology, Dr. Wael Ahmed Fathi, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Botany and Microbiology, student Kyrollos Mamdouh Nassif, Ahmed Farouk Al-Hamili, and Aya Talaat Muhammad, and Fatima Abdel-Wali Ahmed
