Training navigation science students at the National Air Navigation Services Company at the Ministry of Civil Aviation

The Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology at Beni Suef University, under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Osama Shalabia, Dean of the Faculty, organized training for students and graduates of the Faculty at the National Air Navigation Services Company of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, where the training took place theoretically and practically at the hands of an elite group of communications engineers on voice communications systems, satellites, navigational aids (VOR, DME, ILS), radar, and air traffic control. The visit also included a visit to the air traffic control tower, monitoring the area and approach, reviewing the systems during operation, and a map of air routes and corridors.
The University President stressed the provision of full support to students and graduates in order to improve their scientific skills, during the study period and even after their graduation through postgraduate studies or various training programs, especially since the College of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology is one of the unique colleges of its kind that is keen to raise the level of students and graduates.
Dr. Osama Shalabiya, Dean of the College, thanked Captain Ihab Mohieddin Azmi, President of the National Air Services Company, for the good cooperation and the opportunity to train the students and graduates of the College in order to ensure the graduation of human cadres at the highest level in the field of navigation sciences and space technology.
