The Attorney-General Chancellor / Nabeel Sadiq issued a decision to follow up and control the mass media and social networking sites, which broadcast lies and false news.
"The Attorney-General has issued a decree instructing public lawyers and chief prosecutors in their respective areas of competence to continue to follow the mass media and social networking sites to control what is being broadcast from news, statements or false rumors for the public prosecutor, which will disturb public security or terrorize members of society, or may harm the public interest of the Egyptian state and take the necessary criminal proceedings against them. "
