President of Beni Suef University: Launching the Second International Student Festival for International Students and opening a number of exhibitions for participating countries
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, opened the activities of the second international student festival this noon, with the participation of a number of Arab and African countries. The festival includes documentaries, art shows and folklore by cultural attachés. He also opened a number of induction exhibitions for participating countries and university faculties.
He was accompanied by a number of representatives of embassies and cultural attachés of the countries of Palestine, Iraq, Somalia, Oman, Sudan, Tanzania, Kuwait, Syria, Prof. Dr. Essam Al-Barram, Commissioner of the League of Arab States, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Ganabi, Secretary General of the Arab Union for Development and Chancellor / Zuhair Saad Abbas, Iraqi attaché, representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and university vice presidents with a remarkable presence of deans of faculties, faculty members and students.
The aim of the festival is to introduce all Arab, African and foreign countries to the university faculties and programs, stressing that the university is keen to provide the highest levels of services and programs to international students in the educational system, according to international quality standards by providing information for each program and facilitating and follow-up procedures for registration and graduation.
It is worth mentioning that the international students participated in all the festival activities. The festival included documentary films on Beni Suef University and Oman, a film about the Blind Day, Syrian Dabkeh dancing, an Iraqi art drawing, Algerian and Sudanese poetry, in addition to the participation of the University chorus with a number of national songs. The ceremony concluded by honoring the university president for the guests and giving them the shield of the university.
