President of Beni Suef University: the establishment of a center for the means development of conservation of the environment

The Council of Beni Suef University headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan in its 174th session held on 28/8/2019, approved the establishment of a center for the development of means of conservation of the environment, under the management of the university in cooperation with the colleges of advanced graduate studies and agriculture, and the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, to be included Within the financial and administrative regulations of the university.
The President of the University explained that the center aims to identify environmental problems in the province and work to solve them scientifically to reduce them, and fight all causes of pollution in all sources, and how to deal with garbage and waste and the importance of sorting from the source and recycling of waste, in addition to deepening environmental awareness among students to become a nucleus that disseminates culture Environment and conservation.
He added that the center will work to establish close cooperation with consulting offices, governmental and industrial bodies and community and scientific institutions, to solve environmental problems and provide specialized technical advice, in addition to active contribution to the development and implementation of policies, whether at the level of the province or national.
