Beni Suef University Council honors a delegation of students from the Faculty of Science who won first place in the climate change competition

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, honored in its session No. 215 the Green Eco team of students of the Faculty of Science, who won first place in the competition organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research entitled "Climate Change: Creativity for Sustainability", with the participation of more than 40 public, private and National universities, in the presence of university vice-presidents, deans of faculties and members of the council.
Beni Suef University President congratulated the winning team, expressing his happiness with the achievements made by students and professors of the Faculty of Science, Beni Suef University in research and scientific discoveries that serve society and humanity, indicating that the project was chosen by a jury that includes elite of professors and scientists of Egyptian universities and advisors of a number from the concerned ministries.
Beni Suef University President explained that the project's main idea is based on carbon sequestration by using microalgae in the production of biofuels and environmentally friendly biological products with economic returns, indicating that the project is in line with the Egyptian state's policy to confront climate changes and discover alternative solutions that are environmentally friendly.
