Beni Suef University Council: Organizing a celebration on occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The Council of Beni Suef University, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, in its session No. 215, approved the proposal of the Faculty of Special Needs Science regarding organizing the activities of the faculty’s celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The university president explained that the celebration of the International Day for People with Special Needs aims to raise awareness of disability issues and support people with disabilities in order to ensure and promote their rights within society, as well as empower them for comprehensive and sustainable development, in addition to highlighting the latest developments in the field of disability, especially in the scientific and academic fields.
The council also approved the college's proposal to adopt the "We are all one" initiative, which aims to educate and develop the skills of children with disabilities, provide family guidance for their families, and train specialists through workshops in the governorates and villages that are implemented by college students under the supervision of faculty members, and implement training for students with visual disabilities to develop their ability on the use of computers, the Council also approved the college's proposal to hold a charity exhibition for clothes through self-efforts.
