Today, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and Dr. Mumtaz Higab, Dean of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute, received the researcher / Aisha Mohamed Zawy, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Biological Science, Faculty of Natural and Life Science, Zayan Ashour University - Djelfa - Algeria, in order to collect the scientific material for her study to obtain a Ph.D. degree in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants.

Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that this visit is as part of the program to improve the level abroad for professors and Ph.D. students within the framework of cooperation between the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute at Beni Suef University and Algerian universities, stressing that the institute is the only one specialized in this field in the Arab region, and the researcher will deliver a scientific lecture at the institute entitled ''Biodiversity of medicinal plants of Eastern Algeria (Djelfa).
Dr. Mumtaz stressed the Institute's interest in signing cooperation protocols with other universities, through its various departments and educational and research programs for postgraduate studies, which can contribute effectively to the medicinal and aromatic plants sector, in addition to the suggestions, solutions and recommendations provided by the Institute in this type of studies.
