Beni Suef University Council approves the College of Nursing organizing a number of awareness initiatives and training courses

Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, at its 227th session, approved the launch of a number of awareness initiatives and training courses at the Faculty of Nursing, including the “smoke-Free University” initiative targeting all university employees to raise awareness of the dangers and harms of smoking, as well as an initiative to raise awareness of the dangers of incorrect use of antibiotics and their effect on the human body, and the college also organized a number of training courses on first aid in the colleges of engineering,Special Needs Science,and Computers and Information. This came in the presence of the vice presidents of the university, deans of colleges, and members of the council.
The university president explained that these initiatives and courses would increase awareness among university employees about the dangers of smoking and its negative effects on the individual and society, as well as the incorrect use of antibiotics without consulting a doctor due to its serious repercussions on human health, in addition to introducing the principles of basic first aid that may be a reason to save a person’s life, and to act properly and with emotional stability in sudden situations, accidents, and injuries.
