Beni Suef University organizes a comprehensive medical convoy to the village of Al-Koum Al-Ahmar

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the university organized a comprehensive medical convoy to the village of Al-Koum Al-Ahmar
In cooperation with Beni Suef National University and the Rotary Club of Beni Suef, this took place in the presence of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hanan Suleiman, Vice President of Beni Suef National University for Employment and Innovation, Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Mohamed Nagi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, directors of medical sector programs at Beni Suef National University, Dr. Hani Gomaa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Heba Abdel-Azim, President of the Rotary Club of Beni Suef, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Sedky, Assistant Governor Coordinator of the Rotary Club, Mr. Mustafa Tharwat, Assistant Governor of the Rotary Club, and Ms. Vivi Girgis, a member of the Rotary Club
In this context, Dr. Tariq Ali stated that more than 3,000 cases from the village were examined medically, in the specialties of internal medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, and orthopedics, with medicines dispensed free of charge, and cases requiring follow-up were referred to the university hospital to complete treatment
The university president affirmed that organizing these medical convoys stems from the university's community role and its commitment to supporting health initiatives and providing comprehensive medical services to citizens, especially in villages and underserved areas, thus contributing to improving healthcare and enhancing the quality of life for the local community
