The Council of Beni Suef University approves the implementation of a number of courses for students and graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of the University, approved in its 251st session the implementation of a number of training courses for students and graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture in the field of early childhood agriculture and biology. This came in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the deans of the faculties, and members of the Council.
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that these courses come within the framework of Beni Suef University’s keenness to qualify its students and graduates for the labor market and develop their applied and scientific skills.
The courses aim to develop the skills of students and graduates in the practical applications of biotechnology, and to familiarize them with the latest trends in the fields of genetic engineering, the production of genetically modified plants, and modern technologies in improving sustainable agricultural production.
Dr. Tariq Ali emphasized that the university, through these training programs, seeks to link academic studies with the actual needs of the agricultural labor market, in order to contribute to preparing qualified personnel capable of keeping pace with developments in the fields of smart agriculture and modern biotechnology.
For his part, Dr. Abdel Latif Hisham, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, explained that the college is working according to an integrated training plan for the academic year 2025/2026, which aims to raise the efficiency of students and graduates in applied and research fields, and to enhance cooperation with agricultural and research institutions in a way that serves sustainable agricultural development in Egypt.
The seminars are scheduled to cover the definition of sterilization and different sterilization methods, food microbial environments and how to prepare them, methods of isolating microbes from different sources, dry and wet preparations of microbes and their microscopic examination, methods of microbial growth and their applications in the field of biotechnology, steps for preparing commercial microbial fertilizer, yeast and its importance and laboratory tests to detect its vitality.
