Beni Suef University President: October 15 Set for the 166th Academic English Language Test

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, announced that the 166th Academic English Language Test is scheduled for Thursday, October 15. This announcement was made while he was chairing a series of meetings involving the Center for Specialized Languages and Translation, the International Students Department, and the University Facilities Committee. The meetings were attended by Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Mr. Mohamed Selim, University Secretary-General; Dr. Marwa Mahmoud, Director of the Center for Languages and Translation; and Dr. Tarek Dashisha, Executive Coordinator of the International Students Department
During the meeting of the Center for Languages and Specialized Translation, progress on Academic English Tests No. 164 and 165 was reviewed, alongside a follow-up on registration procedures for Test No. 166, scheduled for Thursday, October 15. The meeting also covered the translation of various documents—including graduation certificates, academic transcripts, and proof-of-enrollment statements—and addressed the compilation and documentation of feedback regarding the trial run of the new electronic system for registering the Center’s services and activities, with the aim of refining the system to ensure optimal performance prior to its official launch
During a meeting of the Department of International Students, several topics regarding the development of operational processes were discussed. These included activating the department's electronic system, launching a paid promotional campaign for the university's faculties and institutes on social media platforms, and organizing online orientation sessions for international students interested in studying in Egypt.
The meeting also discussed activating the role of coordinators in faculties with high numbers of international students, as well as a proposal to establish a cooperation protocol with the university hospital regarding the registration of international students wishing to undergo internship training there.
During the meeting of the University Facilities Committee, several topics regarding the development and efficiency enhancement of university facilities were discussed. These included a proposal from the Faculty of Agriculture to construct a fence around the farm and a single-story building housing various rooms, laboratories, a seed storage area, a training hall, administrative offices, and a security office. The plan also involved building a water collection basin for use in fish farming. Additionally, the committee discussed upgrading the second and third floors of the West Nile Conference Hotel, as part of ongoing efforts to assess facility needs and improve their efficiency to better serve the university's various activities and sectors.
