Beni Suef University announces the launch of a Bachelor's program in "International Hotel Management" in partnership with the French company "Vatel".

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the launch of the Bachelor’s program in “International Hotel Management” at Faculty of Tourism and Hotels in partnership with the French “Vattel” College, which specializes in hotels and tourism. This represents a unique academic and training step aimed at preparing a new generation of managers and leaders capable of assuming operational and supervisory responsibilities within the international hospitality industry according to the latest global standards.
The university president emphasized that the program is based on a sophisticated educational philosophy that combines academic learning with comprehensive field experience throughout the four years of study. He explained that the curriculum ensures students continuously alternate between academic learning, operational practice, professional observation, and managerial application, thus enhancing their analytical thinking skills and decision-making abilities in various hospitality settings.
Dr. Tariq Ali pointed out that the program structure spans four academic years, comprising 240 ECTS credits (according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), distributed across eight semesters. The academic progression begins with a foundation year, progressing through the development of management fundamentals and intensive practical training, culminating in advanced managerial competencies. He added that the program is distinguished by its integration of field learning through operational laboratories, hotel simulations, consultancy projects, and internships, which are integral components of the curriculum.
The university president stated that the assessment system in this program departs from the usual traditional methods, as it relies on multiple and integrated mechanisms that include practical assessments, case studies, professional reports, group work, and examinations, which ensures that students receive continuous feedback to develop their strengths on a regular basis.
The university president also explained that graduates of this program will possess comprehensive competencies in five main areas: operational efficiency for various hotel departments, administrative efficiency, business science, marketing and finance, in addition to professional skills, personal and leadership development.
For his part, Dr. Tarek Ali expressed his pride in the international dimension of the program, stressing that it allows Beni Suef University students to benefit from internationally standardized curricula, opportunities for academic mobility and field training within the Vatel network worldwide, and exposure to multicultural work environments that qualify them to compete strongly in the local and international labor market.
