Beni Suef University President Chairs Meeting of the Community Service and Environmental Development Council

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired the 239th meeting of the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development today, in the presence of the Council members.
The University President opened the meeting by welcoming the new vice-deans and extending congratulations on the start of the new academic year. The meeting addressed a plan submitted by the Director General of Environmental Projects to hold a major celebration commemorating the glorious October Victory, in collaboration with the Military Education Department and the General Administration for Youth Welfare, and with the participation of all university faculties (particularly the Community Service and Environmental Development sector). Also reviewed were proposals from the Faculty of Medicine regarding the 5th Annual Scientific Conference of the Department of Rheumatology, Rehabilitation, and Physical Medicine, and a scientific day for the Department of Psychiatry; proposals from the Faculty of Politics and Economics regarding the acceptance of a donation from Arkan Economic Consulting (furnishing a training hall at the faculty) to support the educational process—pursuant to their cooperation protocol—and holding a seminar commemorating the October Victory titled "Arab Solidarity and Preserving the State," to be presented by a professor of political science from the faculty; proposals from the Faculty of Technology and Education regarding a cooperation protocol with the Swiss Cotton Garments Company in Beni Suef; proposals from the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences regarding the construction of a car-shading structure; proposals from the Faculty of Social Work regarding the celebration of the International Day of Older Persons; and proposals from the Faculty of Pharmacy regarding the faculty's third employment forum.
The meeting also discussed proposals from the College of Education regarding the implementation of the "University in Your Home" initiative.
...and the implementation of the "Smart Teacher" initiative and the "School Without Educational Gaps" initiative; proposals from the Faculty of Nursing regarding a cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Nursing at Beni-Suef University and Al-Qalamawy Clinic Hospital, as well as an agreement between the Faculty of Nursing at Beni-Suef University and the Chest and Agouza Hospitals; a proposal to hold an awareness seminar for Nursing students—conducted by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels—to promote awareness of tourism and archaeology; and proposals from the Faculty of Arts to hold a seminar titled "Psychological Burnout and Stress Management" for the faculty and administrative staff.
The meeting also discussed proposals from the Faculty of Physical Therapy regarding a seminar on the October victories, as well as proposals from the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute concerning participation in the International Flower Exhibition (Autumn Flowers edition) at Al-Horreya Park in Zamalek (September 21 – October 20, 2026), the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Festival at the Egyptian Museum in Giza (October 31 – November 1, 2026), and the Medicinal Plants Festival in Beni Suef (October 10–11, 2026).
The meeting also reviewed proposals from the Faculty of Agriculture regarding a cooperation agreement with the Egyptian-Gulf Company for Desert Land Reclamation in the fields of jojoba cultivation and related industries, as well as proposals from the Faculty of Al-Alsun to hold a seminar commemorating the glorious October victory, to be presented by Major General (Staff) Dr. Ibrahim Othman Moussa, a strategic expert.
The meeting also reviewed proposals from the Faculty of Agriculture regarding a cooperation agreement with the Egyptian-Gulf Company for Desert Land Reclamation in the fields of jojoba cultivation and related industries, as well as proposals from the Faculty of Al-Alsun to hold a seminar commemorating the glorious October victory, to be presented by Major General (Staff) Dr. Ibrahim Othman Moussa, a strategic expert.
